..I think this had been sitting around inked and unscanned since....december maybe? o-o I'm not even completely sure anymore. Definitely before the kart collab or my last two art-trades though, I know that.
Anywho, the inspriration for this came one night at around 1-2 AM, when I, for whatever reason, decided to put on a pair of sunglasses and look into a mirror sitting on my desk. It looked cool, and I wanted to photograph it, but instead I thought, "hey, why not just draw Alpha in that kind of pose?" The arms and hands are messed up, the forearms are too long, and I don't like how the hair turned out looking, but like I said, the lineart's from a bit of a while ago, so don't pay too much attention to it D:
I was originally gonna call this piece "*stare*", but that sounded boring, so I decided to go with the name of the song that I found myself replaying the most whie I was CG-ing this; "Devils Never Cry" from Devil May Cry 3

The forearms look okay to me; mainly because whatever flaws you, the artist, sees is drawn away by the main emphasis of the piece; the subject's staring at you. I think that draws the most focus here, leaving slight shortcomings like the ones you counted only noticable once they're mentioned. At least, that's what I think.
Overall, however, the piece looks fabulous. The hair, the choice of clothing (which, for some reason reminds me of the kind of outfits the artist behind Bleach picks out for his own artwork), and the tiny little details you put into the accessories and the scribbling on the table.. all of it has a rather unique 'you' sense about it. Looking back on your older art, the advancements you've made over the last year or so have definitely been noticable. Your work shows your dedication to your craft, as well as the effort you put into it. Keep up the great work.

You look a lot older in this picture than how you drew yourself before. The amount of detail in this is amazing, but there's something weird about the arms and the mouth. Aside from that, this is one excellent drawing.
