This was done for the "Storms of Emotion" art show hosted by the Art and Design Society of Fort Walton Beach. My classmate, Sam, was kind enough to model his hand for me. All "damage" to the piece is part of the composition and design. The theme of the show revolved around the aftermath of hurricanes along the Gulf Coast (2004-2005) and the endurance of the human spirit.
