Full view please, it looks better that way. Curaii and Ayden as mermorphs. I see alot of Mermaid (fan) artworks posted about onsite, but tell me, where are the mermen at? So I decided to draw Curaii as a Betta morph (hence his helmet), and Ayden as a Seahorse morph with colours inspired by the maraquan Draik from Neopets.

*melts* I like that new spin on the mermaid/seahorse tail thing. I still don't understand the blue guy, but my eyes keep running in circles over this picture. The pose of the characters do that. Anyway, very whimsical, very beautiful.

I've always been in the same "...Where are the merdude? I wanna see them!" state of mind as well...probably why my only two merfolk characters thus far have been guys lol

wow! that truly is amazing! Beautyful lineart, finished with amazing smoothish coloring that is not realistic yet not cartoony from hell. Very beautyful. This has convinced me that colored lineart is defently something I'm going to pursue in my artwork!
