*FLASH PLAYER 8 REQUIRED*
A school project for U.S. History (8th grade) that I presented on Wednesday.
The theme was "Origins of the United States of America", and we were to pick a topic that in some way tied in with the formation of the United States. I chose the European renaissance. Then this appeared.
Sorry about the large file size. My computer "crashed" shortly before the day that I was due to present, and a few of my files were corrupted or couldn't be recovered. Unfortunately, the .fla for this animation was one of these files, so I could no longer compress or optimize the Flash, which already had an unusually large file size (around 14 MB), by normal methods.
I tried compressing the .swf itself, but I couldn't get the file size below 7 MB without sacrificing too much quality, and I couldn't insert a preloader by importing the compressed, 6 MB .swf back into Flash as a movie clip without losing even more of the quality.
After several failed attempts at optimizing the .swf without losing too much quality, I resorted to converting the .swf to video and embedding the video back into Flash.

very SaladFingers-Esque. The character art is what set it apart though. Nice Job, what did you get on it?
Hey, you're that guy!
Yeah, google grehainy 5 and maybe my deviant art page will show up
your a watcher of mine!
It pains me to think that you had to go through all of that phycologist bull shit because of a CARTOON!!!
You're class-mates seem like a bunch of POSER people that say their "gangstas" or "goths" but really aren't, because they don't even know how to be, and are just trying to be "cool". I liked this, though I can't really understand why the teacher just gave you a free hundred. I don't really know why you'd present a cartoon with the words "you should kill everyone that you know". But, you DO have a very good point on the fact that people just keep getting dumber and dumber, because that's true.
I saw the score of this on NG, and I must say, that just like me and a whole lot of other people...
YOU ARE UNDER-RATED!!!!!!!
see ya.
wow
"almost" getting divorced each time must not be too much fun. My parents are "officially" divorced, though.
My Mom gave me this advice (probably because she's still unhappy about the whole divorce thing that happened six years ago. "Everyone marries when they're young because they think that they're in love. In reality, no one can be married for very long because they'll stop loving each other. My parents are still married even though they're around 62, and it's not because they love each other, it's because they don't want to stop being married after being married for so long. Do you think my parents actually love each other?". I don't really agree with that at all, but to make sure I didn't "upset" my Mom, I had to make sure that I just nodded my head and pretended it made sense.
And I hope that you understand why I was surprised that people knew my name. I thought that only people like David Firth had so many fans that people actually knew his name. Even one of my fans that I talk to on AIM doesn't know my name. I guess that's why I was surprised. Especially that you know my last name.
Also, this brings up a big question, Why aren't you ever on AIM? It says that you're on, but you never reply when I AIM you! Just wondering.
Also, I need to watch more of you're work.

I like the animation style very much, it just doesn't fit the script.
for a school project, you seem to have put much less effort into the renaissance bits (which were badly animated) than the rest of it

1.hedonistic-histronic
sorry, hedonistic isn't a word i use much, i went by your definition
2.lucky you, they worked? Grumble. They failed me, but potential is there in the field
3.I still agree.
4.I find you thought provoking
(sounds stupid, but that's a major compliment, from me)
I watched you, by the way
tinkerbell2 Says:
2. Me too!
this conversation seems to have dwindled into a no-reply-possible zone.
I can't think of anything else to say
CardboardtubeNinja Says:
I must say that your style reminds me of David Firth.
