Needed to practice with traditional mediums ^^'.

Please don't say it looks like Tidus from FFX!
(although i dunno how the people got the idea that it looked like him...) or RO. (I DO NOT play RO and know SQUAT about it nor do I care about it)
I haven't used any reference from those two.
sorry, its just that a few ppl on DA pointed that out. I find it insulting when ppl do that... sorry, can't help it. Eventually, it'll lead to someone accusing me of being an art theif >=(

This is beautiful. Your use of color is astounding. It's really cool considering what mediums you used, I could never use markers and watercolors without smudging them all together. I love it.

I don't really see where anyone got the Tidus reference from. I can see that it looks a little like RO, but normally I don't care about style similarities unless it looks like blantent rips of some style and then people are like "CHEECK OUHT MA OREGINAL STILE LOL!111!1!1!"

Anyway, I think this looks neat. The main issue that concerns me is on the male's face you really defined where the shading went a little too sharply I think. I think outlining it the way you did caused a very unneeded sharpness that detracts a lot from the rest of the picture's shading. The composition and coloring though are beautiful overall though. I like the bird a lot, it is very beautiful.

oh my, that is so amazing. ive always admired people that can do such fantastic drawings and colorings with traditional medium (its so hard and pretty!). the colors of the bird is so beautiful and well done!
