They know all.
They know nothing.
Still I sit and sip the nectar of no tomorrow.

Well gee.. it's been over a year since I have painted anything in a 'Ragdoll' style. While normally when I painted those brightly coloured worlds of wickedness and deceit in the angstiest of teenage moods, I found myself content the whole time as I worked on this. Personally, I never really thought I would see myself do another, but my sense of humor crept upon me and I found a new flow into which I could produce my 'wicked wonderland', if you will. I guess what I am trying to say is, I've changed a lot since I had done my last 'Ragdoll' painting.

It occurred to me, as I patiently waited on day in class to go home and paint this piece, that I had never really fully explained accurately the significance of these 'Ragdoll' works. I guess I was feeling to hurt at the time to open my thoughts to anyone. I was going through a lot at the time that I first painted them, and I just hid it all away. The Lewis Carol books upon which my books are based are really what I thought of 'my' world at the time. I was in so much grief that I thought of my reality as a sort of 'wonderland'. I felt that I did not live in a reality, but rather I was painting reality on a piece of canvas. The only way that I could describe how I felt was to compare my feelings to that of a popular novel that I related to in my own way--Alice in Wonderland. I felt like Alice, trapped in a dream of wicked and deceitful people. People who smiled kindly to you but held daggers behind their back waiting to pull you apart at already poorly mended seams. The world looked so bright... but dripped with pure poison.

Well, the world hasn't changed, but I have. :)

So here I present to you this newest installment of my 'Ragdoll' series, of which many had been lost because I sold them and the computer files were damaged by a virus. Therefore, I may never see them again. Now you can ask yourself: which is the real evil?

---btw, the tag in the hat reads '10% chance of rain'. :)
