We were assigned a mood chart in Interface Design the other day. You take a piece of artblock, or A3 sized art paper, express all over it with free mediums, strokes and colours and then...cut a wedge out of it with a 12 cm radius and 45 degree angle and paste it onto ANOTHER artblock together with the other emotions. You should have seen my mother's face when I told her I'd cut everything up...
Use music, said Joanne, my lecturer. Thus, this was painted to the melodious strains of the fast and furious Next No Theme - Kuuchuusen (Aerial Battle). Got the poster paint ready, stuck the artblock on the wall, dug my fingers into the pallette and started abusing the paper with blacks, reds and yellows. But mostly reds. I tried one more time with brushes, but while it looked neater it just didn't have the...feeling to it somehow.
The downside? My wall looks like I murdered someone on it, and the paint got on my prized ULTRAMAN poster as well. Tohoho no ho~TT_TT
