As the two girls pull up at the dock Katlin pauses for a moment to remind her new partner to call back to headquarters.
This is an aquard pause as Kat is used to simply rushing in. The thing she hates about new partners is that she has to fallow procedures all the time other wise she'll mess up there training.
Jenna calls the captain to confirm the information: Two magic items were stolen from the local museum.
Jenna could see in her new partners eyes. she was trying to maintain a professional attitude but was still having aquard feelings to her as all trainers do to the "noobs".
