I drew this monster in my sketchpad and felt a hankering to quickly paint it on a scrap piece of board. It's acrylic and quite small, only 22 x 15 cm. I've been told the design of this critter looks like it could have escaped from Star Wars, which I take as a compliment because the creature design in those films was very cool. I felt like painting a brown picture too.

Regarding the title: Arg-E Bam in Iran is the largest adobe citadel in the world, and after 2,000 years, was tragically almost completely destroyed by an earthquake in 2003.

love the gold color scheme. the creature design is fantastic, it does remind me of something that would come out of lucas films. You would be very much at home there, I think. His little face is way to adorable.
