An alien design that I've had in my head for a while. Also an experiment with a different shading style.

There are plenty of imagined hybrids and chimeras of various animals out there already. I wanted to create something that looked strikingly different from anything terran, but not so bizarre as to be a monster. Some anatomical consideration went into this alien's morphology.

This alien stands about 80 cm tall. Above the pelvis, he is almost immobile: he can nod up or down, move his mandibles, and breathe... that's it. The first knee on each of the six legs has a callous, and these knees hold the weight of the body when he sits. His lungs make up the outer part of the "bag" at his back, which is why this bag changes size visibly as he breathes. It took many tries to get decent-looking legs on this body design.

Very curious. I especially like this as I can't really make any similarities to any earthly creatures; and thats always a gold star for alien design.
Also the shading is very sharp. Jolly good.
