Here we go again. More from my in-progress comic, Crossed.

Lethe | Med. green eyes | Red hair | Light blue-gray skin | 5th Origin Demon
His skin isn't supposed to be all that blue. I just can't simulate it with the few markers I have- I swear someday I'll get around to coloring them all in colored pencils, I can get much more accurate tones with them.
Here's the smarmy bastard himself, king of politics. He's charismatic, conniving, and power-hungry.. not the kind of person you really look up to. He was actually first made as the first angel, but the Creator didn't like how it was turning out- stuck horns on it and tossed it down to the Underworld instead. As the final Origin and the least powerful, he was at quite the disadvantage. He recovered from this by immediately establishing himself as an authority figure (something none of the previous four had particularly bothered with) and began establishing morals and social conduct. A lot of the scruples of the Underworld's modern society are due to his law-setting opinions.
One of the more notable rules set by him was the one banishing Monsters below ground, to the task of cleaning energy. He gave many reasons for this, but his true motive was that the creation of life (using natural science) was something only Auhelon really had the intelligence to do. Lethe viewed Auhelon as his biggest competition (which was pointless, Auhie scorned all organized power), so it was in his best interests to equal out the field. He also made it unlawful to create life through science. Auhelon didn't really feel like fighting it at the time, and just let it slide.
He's not very interesting. :(

Tzyx | light red eyes | green hair | Yellow/green-scaled skin | 4th Origin Demon
Tzyx is the Origin of the bloodline given the title Monsters by Lethe. They were created by Auhelon, in a mixing of his own genetic material and that from various creatures from the human layer. Tzyx was the first and strongest of these, though he made many lesser ones afterwards. There'll be more on Monsters later.
Tzyx accepts the menial work and lower-class designation given to them. It's partly because she has a quiet and docile nature, and it's partly because Lethe has such a forceful personality that she doesn't figure she could do much about it. Besides, it's not such a bad job. They're able to live in relative comfort, and they don't have to deal with the society that rejected them because they live isolated from the main part of the Underworld.
She looks up to Auhelon as a father figure, or a mentor- doesn't begrudge the fact that he's done nothing to combat their unfair treatment. Locutos is a good friend of hers as well, and though their schedules don't often allow it they enjoy getting together over... coffee. Or something. They like to discuss fashion- typical women.

The last is just something I threw in there for kicks. Arly was asking me how they'd get around in the Underworld, I said there'd probably some horse-like creature and that I didn't feel like thinking about it at the moment. Felt obligated to at least make something up, so here we go. Kind of cute, but drawing the scales was a bitch. The feathers on its head are actually part of its bridle, they're common decorations. This is really more a show beast than a laborer. And they don't have a name. I take suggestions. Or comments. Or... anything really.

Awesome. Now I don't feel obligated anymore.. I can post new work.
