Fantasy
From my chamber window,
I hear the Demons hiss,
and the Werewolf’s howl,
I hear the Vampires victim whimper,
and the Dragons fierce roar,
I am knowing of all, listening, watching.
From my chamber window,
I hear the Angels great hymn,
And the Elf’s poetic song,
I hear the Faeries playful giggle,
And the Spirits haunting moan,
I am knowing of all, watching, listening.
From my chamber window,
I hear the Witches spell,
and the Druids chant,
I hear the Gods thunderous voice,
and the Mermaids lonely cries,
I am knowing of all, listening, watching,
From my chamber window.
Alas! That is all I can do,
Watch and Listen,
Listen and Watch,
I am cursed by my own mind,
it is a curse, but I love it so.
So leave me to my fantasy,
I do not need your reality.

Just the phrase "chamber window" is very reminiscent of Poe. I quite like it.
Animayqueen Says:
I like it, it sounds like something written after overdosing on Poe's works. Nice job.

I haven't ever read Poe but I really like this poem.
