Time
In one set of eyes, the world is bright and cheerful with the occassional attack of sadness or hatred lightly tarnishing this image. Yet it remains, the man who gets some form of opportunity attempts to hold close his values and keep his attitude upbeat despite what life deals him.
Another set of eyes are cold and dark with the passing of but a few years. Life has not been kind, life has been a storm of shadow with the slight reprieve of light during the initial calm. Having endured hardship, this person is strong and determined, but cold.
How can these two people have seemed the same, but changed so much? My friend, I am sorry that I was not able to help you in your time of need. That I cannot aid you in your debts or be with you due to my location.
I promise that, if ever you need me, I will be there in any way I can. I shall aid you in your endeavors. Granted, my position may make my contribution not as large as I would like, but please do not think that I do this as a simple gesture.
I have known you many years and we have shared many fond memories. Do not cast me aside, I am your ally in all you face. Lean on me if you need, I am here for you, my dear friend.
Remain strong in all you do, dragon of fiery red, dragon of power and persistance. You shall succeed, and I shall be by your side if I can help at all. Do not lose faith, you have friends who believe in you.
