Fairy Tale Part 7
Distorted images were all that met his eyes for a moment as reality collided into him soon after he awoke. A blurred figure seemed to be near him. Even with a fragmented conciousness he registered the color white, something large and white. Part of him was filled with fear by such a gigantic beast, he was trapped in its lair and surely was the next intended meal.
Yet, another part of him spoke of a benevolent, kind, perhaps even beautiful creature. She would not harm him, she was protecting him from something dark and evil. She? Such a powerful creature being female did not seem to bother his frazzled mind as bits and pieces of his earlier escape reached him.
Time passed for a moment longer, he wished to utter a word to her, the creature who had saved him,. Yet, he could not remember her name. His thoughts soon began slipping away as his memories turned to her.
Kyra. Her name was Kyra. He summoned strength enough to smile as he remembered who she was. Kyra, beautiful Kyra. And the world became mute and void of sound once more.
