I was looking through some of my old comics I used to draw when I was a wee lad (fighting the urge to set fire to them and erase all record of my poor wrtiting and art...), and I found three original characters that I just felt deserved a redraw. Because I read Sonic The Hedgehog comics growing up (Issue #1 came out just when I hit the right age to be attracted by them, and I was hooked by Scott Shawn's art style and the writing), they're Sonic The Hedgehog-universe styled characters, but maybe I'll give them human or some other kind of redesigns...
Furthest right is Ruby the Echidna, a treasure hunter who accidentally ended up in the Zone of Silence (From back in the day when all I knew about it was from the ABC Saturday Morning Cartoon) while trying to find a legendary undersea city created by intelligent octopuses (Hey, I was about ten when I wrote and drew these plotlines, cut me some slack!).
Next up is Will, who might look familiar because of the gloves. Was actually Mecha Sonic before he became a flesh and blood hedgehog through a convoluted storyline that parodied the original Star Wars trilogy. Will had fantastic speed like Sonic, but was slightly slower. He was actually more hot-headed than Sonic and ended up having to fight against other copies of Mecha Sonic (or to be more accurate, himself) frequently.
Last one, on the left, is actually the first version of Starnik. A cargo transporter from Space, this version could fly and his arms and legs were disconnected from his body, ala Rayman™ (the video game character).
