The Lord
It trickled slowly at first. Falling away like tiny rain droplets into a small pool of crimson beauty. My eyes gleamed in maniacal fervor. I held an air of grim delight about me that showed itself in my body language and my voice. Almost smiling as I spoke, I called to my dying victim. He held no form of anger at me, merely using the last bit of strength he had not to hate me, but to stay alive.
I held a grin for a time before slashing at him again, his pained groan barely audible, but keenly picked up by my expert hearing. I watched him bleed, watched the small pool grow as a river of red touched the ground.
My vision grew more strained as I clutched at conciousness when in reality I clutched at my own sanity. The animal inside me took control, I felt I could no longer restrain, nor did I want to. I let my full fury release upon the hapless and helpless fool before me.
His death was swift but painful. He felt every bit of my claws stab into his skin, rip apart his flesh, decimate his body and soul. His mind must have been devoured by unending torment as the few seconds until his death weighed on him like eons of anguish.
Mangled and mutilated he lay, my deep maroon eyes watching him mouth a single word. "Demon" he called me. I spit upon him. Fool, unloving ingrate, bastard, the kind of man who loved none but himself. He cared for no one in life, why should I aid him, give him mercy in this land of sorrow and savagery?
My answer; I simply should not. Love he hath not given, and love he shalt not receive. Such is the law of this place. The law of the world of sinners. The law of Hell. And I shall uphold these ancient decrees of what is right, wrong, and all in between.
Let him die like the pitiful worm he is. My claws simply wait for his soul to reappear for his eternal torture begin again, for my bodily weapons to become warm with his blood. To feel what it's like to kill again. Taking life as if holding the Reaper's own blade. To end him as soon or as slow as I deem fit.
I am master of his life, of his death. I am the one who decides how his eternal damnation shall be created. I am his God now. And my wrath shall be known. I am Lucifer; Lord of the Damned.
