Nighttime Fairyhow she first looked back in '03/'04 (I think...bit foggy memory as to precise dates)...
But this is how I see her now...
She sprung from a saying I say to my daughter almost every night:
"May fairies and angels protect you tonight,
No harm or dread shall come to this bed,
Bathed in holy light..."
...I need to create an angel for a companion piece to this (one day some day)
This was done on 300lbs. Lanaquarelle (or was it Arches? - well, it was one or the other) paper (cold pressed I believe, but don't quote me on this) mostly (95%) watercolor, pastel pencil (2%), colored pencil (highlights in the hair - 2% there), gouache, acrlyic and inki (1% for those three)...I could of had this done in a weeks time, but with the holidays & life in general, it was finished today (started 11 days ago)
Now I'm off to clear my desk (pre & post completed art piece ritual of mine), look over some stuff, and start my Christmas images for next year tomorrow...a New Year's resolution I plan to firmly keep!
