Just a little pic of Sylvan M. seeing some one off. Since he's drawn as a younger man it is probably Chris, though originally I thought it was Cande.
I thought I'd add this and another picture of him even younger than this, since someone thought he was a girl on the Cover picture. Believe me I can well understand that, but I figured it deserved the clarification of some full body pictures.
I gave up drawing a while back. I don't do it much anymore, though I'm considering picking it back up. I don't know. Having talked with a couple of my favourite webcomic artists, and found them to be a normal human being, I'm starting to think I should start really writing and drawing Dark Rain... I don't know.

I did. A Long time ago, back when we first met, but only ever in passing because
even then I had already abandoned the project.

I think he's simply adorable. ^^ Take up drawing again! You definitely have potential there! The only part that needs work is the hands, but every artist will admit (unless they're lying) that hands are the hardest and often the primary concern in critiques. Hell, look at my drawings of some hands and you will see I make mistakes more than I should. .______. In either case, I would just add the ring finger and pinky into the picture on the right hand, because I only notice the thumb and two fingers (which are perfect, you just need to add those two other fingers). The hair is long and flowing, with the perfect amount of division to show it is hair and not just a flowing blob of negative space. His mouth is a bit wide for my tastes, but if it's you style, I won't bother knocking it. I believe the problem with people thinking he is a girl is the eyes -- they're big and expressive like the classic girly eyes you see in manga and anime. I would give the eyes more edges here and there instead of just flowing, smooth lines. Also try to focus on the clothing when it is on the body. A sleeve usually has folds and wrinkles in it when it's loose like that. Otherwise, everything else is perfect to me. The proportions, the choice of clothing style, the hair (as I said), the hands (with a little more work)..
Good job.

well. If you really want me to, and are will to critique like this more, I'll try
doing some more drawings of him. I won't promise yet, but this type of crit is what
I needed before that no one would give me. Which is why I stopped drawing. So
yeah... let me know.

esoteric Says: Yeah, go ahead. I enjoy giving thoughtful, nice critiques for people
(not that harsh, bitter criticism that makes you want to curl up and cry). If nobody
else comments on the picture, you can bet I will -- if nothing gets in my way.
