Wow! You know...You two work really well together. You've got that nice...almost chalk-like quality to your colors, and it really compliments Artie's childlike cartoon linework. Not that his stuff looks like it was drawn by a child, but rather that he kind of makes everything look young and cute.
Even ugly-lovely ol' Wade Wilson.

I think if you mixed in some alternate colors into the blade--like a very subtle yellow or another light warm color--you could really get a kind of metallic shine from it. 
I don't know though!
