"Rain poured onto the battlefield, wiping the grass clean of blood and sending the army members scurrying for the safety of their tents. It was a night no one wanted to be out in, but of course, they were soldiers in the midst of war and couldn't afford to be caught unawares. At times like these, he regretted being so duty-bound, regretted having to be the one to volunteer himself for the least desirable tasks instead of stepping back and letting life pass by. But he was General Seth, the Silver Knight, destined always to put king and queen and country above himself. And so, though the water dripped beneath his armor and into his boots and seeped into the bandages on the wound that probably would never heal properly, he did not complain. It was in the line of duty, after all."
