I altered his story eventually because of different reasons.
Firstly, this picture was originally ment to be the anthro form of Kaft, but while I was making it I fabricated a self-supporting life and story to it. I feel to merge the two versions, because the main of character of dreams and dreaming is Somnium for me, and Kaft had previously only a heroic epic story based on Heroes of Might and Magic 3, so it needed a little upgarade.

Thanks to pictures and music clips I got recently I succesfully able to create a whole complex character. To which I'm proud at. So I make no more delay now and I try to sum up the story of the character shortly.

Kaft was born in the days very long ago, tracking back to nearly to the ancient times. At the first days when humans had already existed. When he saw first the light, his race had already been facing extinction, leastwise his sabertooth manticore race and the common manticore race took their place. To be precise he was born into the last sabertooth manticore family and to a very bad place. Jeah the faith (dogma) had already existed among the humans and religion too, in which everything which is different is a bad thing.
This dogma had a simple reason. At that times the humans were the weakest as a race and they were in constant dread of all creature above them, and tried to survive by making a union beetwen themselves. They were deaf and blind to an alliance with any other race. (They were racist.)

Kaft's family lived in the neighborhood of that company, because they couldn't move away in time. They were few and the area was unknown to them.
A kind of primal force existed in the manticores, it wasn't a demonic one, it was rather a hunter instinct and some cruelity. As the black panther or the lynx they too killed for their own joy not only for their survival. And yes they were sentinent beings but their knowledge was only focused to their survival, rarely to anything else. The anything else covered mostly the knowledge of natural magic and forces.

As I has been already written Kaft family was killed. Kaft survived it only with a great deal of luck. The vengeance began growing in his heart, but he was too young and not very powerful. Here comes the change of the original story as the visited a sage in the forest, he was similar to an Ent, a very old and slow creature. Kaft asked the sage for help to fullfill his vengeance for his family.
The sage told Kaft that yes he is capable of helping him but it is risky and possibly has side-effects which he could not able to foretell. Everything has two sides, so if Kaft acceps it he will help.
Kaft accepted it and paid the price for it.

Manticore at day, and a demonic lionman at night wearing a mask in his mace. What makes it really complex the backslash that as an anthro he loses his memories of being a Manticore and understands only the tasks given by greater powers. His power greatly surpasses the power of an ordinary manticore, his skills are stronger too, but he could not complete his vengeance. He is capable of reaching higher aims and helps for achieving them, but could not fulfill his own vengeance. As a human-animal he has a total different personality, a silent stiff murderer and he was given a task of guarding a gate which leads to an other dimension. In exchange he became immortal and named himself Inexstinctus, means uneresable. This name describes his new personality best. He has the great power and primal urge and dignity of the manticores and because of that he is a cruel and merciless killer. This comes together with the feeling that he feels inside that something is missing. He could not remember back or interpret what is missing and the emptiness made him very bitter, in most times he only executes orders as a soldier and a few times the frenzies and destroy anything that is beautiful because if he can't see it, no one other should see such things.

In his original form as Kaft he remembers everything and howevery he don't feel that something is missing, with making various experiments the succeded in his vengeance for his family. So this side of him calmed but his still (and will ever) hates the humans. His hatred against them will always remain.

Neither of his two form and personality is neither evil nor good. He has the duelity of a bitter warrior and a content prideful intelligent animal. You can discover mostly the compensation of the two different life inside him.

However he is one character you must count with two separate one. Both of them has one thing in common and this is the instinct, the primal instinct of a beast.
