Lady Knight
She steps out, noble head hanging low
Polished helm resting on bloody breast.
Finally sated from blood-wrath's greed,
Lady Knight, whom do you heed?
You've finshed your work, hating your queen.
His life held in forefit
If you do not suceed.
A subdued dragon your steed
Leaping to the blackened sky
Unicorns dodge like silver time,
Lady Knight, what was thy crime?
He knew your past,
watched you glide to glory.
Never once revealing, only concealing.
Sitting tall, stature proud
Satin scales, razor edges
Feared terror that flames and burns,
Lady Knight, when did you learn?
Honor, courage, commitment.
Preparation, integrity, loyalty.
Duty to your queen.
Violent rage, striking thunder
His piercing scream echos your soul.
Thunder and rain changes to snowing,
Lady Knight, where are you going?
Only he understood you, watching from the trees.
A friend beyond measure, but-
Your mistake doomed him forever
I called you into my castle.
Watched you drop to your knees,
"You will no longer fly."
Lady Knight, how do you die?
With a spark in her eye,
and armour washed clean.
She answers my question.
Not with words,
but...
in her blood.
