Scion

My lord, my leige!
News from the North,
news from the west.
Your forces ride to war.

But what they need are flaming swords,
boots of dragon's leather.
Brooches set with sor-cer-y
Helms and your blackest banner!

My bard, my scion.
What news of the South,
what news of the East?
My forces will own the skies.

They shall have their flaming swords,
boots of dragon's leather.
Brooches of dark'st sor-cer-y.
They will carry my banner!

My lord, my king!
I will travel South,
I will travel East.
Your forces, they will follow.

But what they need are leaf-blade spears.
Cloaks and armour bright.
Horses that can race the wind,
sight that may pierce the night.

My bard, my messenger.
What news of the mountains,
what news of the seas?
My night will cover all with ease.

They shall have their leaf-blade spears.
Cloaks and armour bright.
Horses that can race the wind,
sight for the nights.

My lord, my master!
I will send for my horse,
I will send for my harp;
and leave. Prepare for war!

Part two of three. This one actually went much much quicker, Aethan really started to give me a hand. Probably because he's decided that yes, he IS the bard. *nods* Yes.

Also, the chorus was originally based off the "Dancing Song" which is in traditional Hungarian, however, the english translation that I have is as follows:

What they need are jingling spurs
Boots of crimson leather,
Brooches set with pearls and gems,
Caps with egret feather
