Genral Conformity

Is there life without love?
Is there death without hate?
Veiwing a world through false eye's,
ears burning from spoken lies.
Originality is something unknown,
from each person that is shown.
Your hair, your cloths, all the same,
no difference between the people is shame.
"It's in", those words are heard,
from your individual image you are lured.
Your identity gone and forever lost,
when you conform it has a cost.
To find a love is hard,
when all are the same.
A heart alone in the world,
refusing to conform.
Never, never, will people be themselves,
Pain, shame, loss, greed......and love,
Forever lost in the sea of conformity.

Well, this was inspired by a conversation I had with a friend of mine. I just started to think and began to type, don't ask me why but it makes an odd kind of sense when I look at so I figured I would see what you all thought.

This one has the most substantial and material meaning of all yours poems, I think it is my favorite because of this. I love the message it plays out but I do beg to differ my friend.... not everybody in the world is conformed there are those that start the trends to begin with
