Sketched this in school! To my webcomic, this girl, nameless, is one of the two main characters. She's special o.o Her story can be told O:
When she was a child, she was very happy, but had to be cared for delicately. At birth, she didn't breathe. They took about five minutes to enable her breathing, but every so often within the first hour, she would stop breathing as she slept. This worried the doctors greatly. They scanned her body, and to their horror, found all of her insides were not fully developed. Since her conditions had shown since birth (they had passed it off as a natural thing, since sometimes babies don't breath, because fluid is inside their nose) they gave her one week to live. Her mother wept as the week progressed, then two, then three, a month, a year, then 16 years. She beat the doctors predictions and lived somewhat.... strong, yet weak.
When she left the hospital, the doctors gave her medication to help her insides fully grow as she grew. They were more like sleep pills to her, and never worked. As she grew, her insides grew at a slow rate. Sometimes, if she were to bend in a position, or an organ would grow slightly, it would rip at least a bit. Sometimes it only felt like a bit of pain in her stomach, making her stop whatever she was doing. Other times, she would puke blood, depending on the size of the rip.
She grew, and became more daring. She rock-climbed, ice-skated, played soccer, and even attempted wrestling. She was banned from it by her mother and school board because of her conditions, but THEY don't know she went to the back of school and THEY don't know she won every fight a male threw at her.
At 10, the doctors finally decided to get rid of the medication and wanted to hospitalize her for a while, making her stop what she was doing in her life, and just lay in bed for a few days. Her mother denied, she didn't want her daughter bed-ridden. When she was 13, her mother moved to ___ (location of comic still plotting) ___ where she worked as a book store clerk, selling antique books. There, she met (Second Main Char.) in which they became friends.
At 16, she likes tennis greatly, as it is her favorite sport, she has one tattoo, and it's around her belly button (very daring
) She likes eating a lot. Since her organs as still not fully developed, they haven't given her proper nutriants to her body, thus, her metabolism is high, she.is.a.stick. She does occasionally spit up blood, but now it had become a daily basis thing, like breakfast, lunch and dinner. This has been worrying her and her mother greatly.
Now, I don't know my doctor stuff, or about what would happen if this DID happen to a human body, but I'm guessing. MY COMIC
