Doodles done after reading an article in National Geographic about the Harp Seals here in Canada and how they're getting all beaten for their fur, but more importantly how they are losing their habitats because of melting polar ice caps due to global warming. I'm doing a reseach paper at the moment on the effects of global warming, and on reproduction in art and art theory, and it all comes together quite nicely. The seals in the article were just SO cute.

i adore baby harp seals. they were my favorite animal when i was younger.
this is such a good picture of them. all the little glowies make the picture for pretty.
