So...I've always been reluctant to upload any humanish sort of arts of mine to the internet, but I figured wtf it's only my sheezy gallery, so why not? This is my oldish koi character, who's name I had written down somewhere but I forgot it. I drew him up a couple years ago while visiting family and sort of liked him, despite how much I despise drawing humans. So he' stuck with me until now. This is the most recent pic I could find of him. After taking a course in drawing human proportions, I can now see all the anatomical errors that I couldn't see before....but they are either consistant with my drawing style, or I'm too lazy to care about them. Oh well.

AEEEEEEE! That's just like mine! except mine is a girl, and it's a full-render (if you can call it that). I like your guy's tail more though ;__;

What really catches my eye is his face. Maybe it's just a normal feature that everyone looks at once they lay eyes on a drawing but something about his face gets to me. Like he's wondering, or pondering about something. Like what fish do
Haha.
I think the body is just fine, especially if it has to be mixed with another creature. In your case the fish. I mean koi fish are naturally long & mellow breeds. So it's expected to see his body in length too.
Don't pick at something that you drew a while back. It still looks amazing :3
omg where the hell do you come up with this stuff? fabulous lineart, I love how you ink with different colors. How do you do it?
