I've got only one word to say...
I can't cope that look in your eyes
When you simply stare at me
Thinking: she surely realizes
I don't need her to be with me
(Not anymore)
But can't you see my agony
The pain I suffer for you?
You truely live in harmony
With that thing you 'had to do'?
And all you told me
Was "sayonara"
I don't need you to be
By my side anymore
(Sayonara, sayonara)
Thinking of all things we've been through
Sad and happy, cruel and wonderous
Doesn't it mean anything to you
And am I to you, just Anymous?
The times I spent with you
Sure, were my happiest
The times I spent with you
Also were my saddest
And all you told me
Was "sayonara"
I don't need you to be
By my side anymore
(Sayonara, sayonara)
I've wondered for so long:
"Why did it have to end like that?"
And I worked out my song
So I finally can tell you what...
It means to me
(Oh yeah, what it means to me)
And I finally saw
That monstrous claw
That raped your heart
And tore us apart
Now I can say
(As well)
I've got only one word to say...
And all I tell you
Is "sayonara"
I don't need you to be
By my side anymore
(Sayonara... Sayon...)
And all I think of you
Is "oh God, I love him"
After all we've been through
And I still just love him...
But all you tell me
And all I tell you...
Is "sayonara"
Sayon... ara.

Note: "Sayonara", farewell in Japanese, can be displayed in fonethic writing on several ways, like Sayônara, Sayoonara etc. I chose Sayonara because most people know it like that.

Hope I chose the right category.
Wheez. Okay, maybe this needs a bit of explanation...
I'm busy with a new story/book, in which Mizumi Gintori has a role - she's a kind of 'the Primera-chan of this world', i.e. she's a star in everything: singing, dancing, painting, modelling, writing... A lot of stuff. Her actual name is Marina Tsubasa: at age of 15, she went to Nazuka to learn how to control her Powers - magical Powers*. There she got the ability to change her name**, so it became Mizumi Gintori instead, and she's used her original name Marina Tsubasa as her stagename since that day.
Anyway, as she's sixteen when the story starts, she's a teenage girl and, guess what, in love with a guy named Riko (his original name was Rico... he wasn't quite original with changing it, tho'). He's always been her next door friend, but now they're growing up, they're growing apart from each other and Riko's acting very coolly towards Mizumi - and Mizumi, who can get every guy she wants, restricts her view to him and dedicates all her songs to him. This song, her debut single, was written and composed by her and represents her feelings.

* Something about the main story: The main character Kylie Moontry's visited by a mysterious woman called Nazuka; the next day, her parents don't come home from work anymore and two weeks later, at her sixteenth birthday, Nazuka visits her again and asks her if she wants to come with her to control her Powers - Powers, that, according to Nazuka, probably made Kylie's parents disappear. Kylie agrees with it that she needs to practice and follows her to a small building - Kylie's gonna be Nazuka's tenth student, together with other boys and girls around her own age; Mizumi is one of her 'collegues'.
** One of the subjects they deal with is Telepathic Powers. There's a test to prove whether or not they can do it, and this test means that the students have to send a new name to Nazuka via Telepathy. When Nazuka speaks to them the next day with that name, they know they control it. After that, they may choose whether or not they want to change their name officially. Marina/Mizumi chose to change her name, but chose her real name as her stage name.
