Game review - Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Players: 1-2
Genre: Fighting
Consoles: X-Box, PS2

There been a few Mortal Kombat spin-offs in the past, 'Mytholigys: Sub-Zero', 'Special Forces' but this one isn't crappy and is accually worth playing.
It's set between the first Mortal Kombat game and Mortal Kombat II, you play as either Liu Kang or Kung Lao (or both if you have a friend). You are sent by Raiden to follow Shang Tsung into outworld.
The gameplay is fairly good, you can move around in a 3-D style and beat the crap out of enemys as you please, throwing them into stage traps and such.
Along the way you encounter many classic Mortal Kombat fighters like Sub-Zero, Reptile, Kintana, Goro, ect. You also get new abilitys like climbing, long jump, wall jump, wall run, etc.
As always you get special moves, but you don't have you press buttons in sequnces to preform them all you have to do is press two buttons and away you go.
You get much more fatalitys in this as well and they're quite simple to remember and preform.
There is also a versus mode with has a bunch of characters to choose from like Baraka, Reptile, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Kung Lao, Jonny Cage, etc.
You can also play the original Mortal Kombat II, if you can unlock it that is.
