This is the sad state my first custom pony is in these days.
She was a G1 Sundance that was beyond hope of repair. At the same time I had her, I had a G1 Sunbeam that had a destroyed body but perfect hair. It was a simple transplant so to speak. I gave Sundance Sunbeam's white hair and tail after removing Sundance's symbols with nail polish remover. The tail was FORCED in, I didn't know how to do it so she has tears in her rear around the hole.
Unfortunatly, I didn't know about Patio paint at the time so this pony got her symbols painted with nail polish... and over time, they have peeled, smudged and faded.
I think I need to redo her.

she has a really nice design despite teh fadedness of it. I've always loved this pose. She's not as terrible as you made her out to be. What I think is that if you redid her symbol with proper paint she'd be absolutely lovely instead of just cute.
