This was a project in my Digital Illustration class. We were required to take two vidoegames and splice them together to form one. Some chose to do Resident Evil Barbie or Mario's New Ride (i.e. GTA Mario), but I decided to put together two games that I both love dearly, NiGHTS and Kingdom Hearts, to form Kingdom NiGHTS: Chain of Dreams.
The whole lineart of both characters was made using the pen tool over offical artwork. The NiGHTS pose was taken from a Christmas NiGHTS picture and the Sora pose is one found almost only in the artbook (which I have =3). The Wizeman BG was made using the screenshot and an added filter of clouds to expand it. Wizeman must be on the cover! The font for "Kingdom" is the same one I used for the re-made Kingdom Hearts logo I did.
On the side is a 3D rendition of the box for Playstation 2. VIVA LA PS2!!! *hit in the head with flying objects*
I think if this were a real game, I would die and go to heaven
