Based loosely off of a photograph I've used before.
This woman looks concerned and uncertain, her hair slipping in front of her veil. What has she seen?
I used a limited palette for the most part. Mainly blues, to add the tone of sadness to her image, red in the background possibly denoting a violence happening and I wanted to emphasize her eyes. I made them a very rich brown for that and used a much darker blue to darken the rims. I definitely wanted the focuse on the eyes, which is also why the shading is pretty soft on the face and the eyebrows and hair (also brown) are very light and mixed a little with the blue to fade them back some.
Anyway, I wanted something more than a silly doodle up here, so, there you go.
