Based on the long running British sitcom, this was another poster design for the acting company I'm a part of. A simple two colour design, but I was very peased with the results.

The plot of the play is suitably farcical - René, the hapless café owner in war-torn occupied France, and his wife, Edith, struggle to keep for themselves a priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis as well as hiding two British airmen and endeavouring, with the help of the Resistance, to repatriate them.

However, communications with London through a wireless disguised as a cockatoo add to confusion, as does the news that the Führer is to visit the town.

There's always milage in comedy Germans.
