Frieda (c) Charles M. Schulz
I guess I ended up making Frieda look sorta like a gypsy. (My apologies if I offended any gypsies)
I thought the hankerchief in her hair worked better than a bandanna, cap, hairnet, do-rag, etc.
I don't think Frieda would be as trendy as I think Violet or Patty would be. Going on and on about her "Naturally curly hair" she would probably stay away from any chemicals that could remotely damage it. Therefore, I can see her becoming all "herbal" and enviromentally-minded. Though she still has no qualms about barking at certain creatures of nature to chase after other creatures of nature. (Refer to SnoopyFD pic)
Hey, If I ever do the "Peanuts" gang in a "Batman" motif, Frieda is a shoe-in for "Poison Ivy." :)

You need to convince someone so you can do a comic with these guys!
I think you would do will!

LOL - I totally agree with your updated version of Frieda...it fits her perfectly! For some reason, she reminds me a lot of Asuka Langley Sohryu from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, in looks and attitude.
She looks great. Its probably what she would like.

I think it's a natural evolution of the character!

I have always loved your rendition of the snoopy gang. If there was an ongoing graphic story, or group poster I would so purchase them.
Merledog Says:
Haven't seen art from you for a while. The continuation of the Peanuts gang is excellent, as always.

She doesn't look like a gypsie, she looks... like a gardener. A bit newage. The kind of girl who lives in an apartment but has her own little vegetable garden on her balcony or on the roof.
Lovely interpretation.
