I

Love is ever confusing
They say if you love something, let it go, if it comes back, it was meant to be
They also say if you really love someone, be happy for them when they are happy, even if they are not with you
But they say hold your loved ones close

They say there are many fish in the sea
But they say there’s only one true love, one soul mate

They say there is someone who completes your soul
But they say if you truly love someone, let them go

But what if you’re scared to wait? Maybe that one wasn’t THE one.

But what if you’re scared to let go? Maybe the one you love is unsure of their love for you.

What if you don’t want to miss out, waiting for the one you let go, but you’re scared to find someone else?

Love is basis for so much, but some go thru life without ever feeling love.

I have felt love, I let my love go.
I’m filled with sorrow. I don’t want to feel this sorrow, I want to find love, yet I’m so scared to abandon the one I let go.

I wish for happiness.
Let him be happy.
Don’t let me lose him.
Let me find love.

Please don’t forget me.
There’s really only one thing different. We’re not together. I wish we were…

You showed me happiness. Self-respect. The world. I will always love you for that.

Everything will still be the same.
I’ll send you presents.
I’ll still think of you, of what you taught me.
I’ll miss you when you’re gone.
I’ll hug you when I see you.
I’ll smile back at the pictures of you, happy and handsome.
I’ll still write you silly little notes.
One thing will be different.
I won’t have you all to myself.
But that’s OK.
You will be OK on your own.
So long as I have the memories of us, I’ll be happy.
Perhaps one day you’ll be mine again.
Then I will be in paradise.
