And no, I'm not particularly religious, I just liked the imagery. =)

Even though this piece is a bit on the religious side, the symbolism absolutely beautiful. Would you take a bite?

Oh, this is beautiful! I'm not usually all for digital art, but this is stunning .

Raniko Says:

That is gorgeous. I'm not religious either but I think that's an awesome story to illustrate. xD;

chiadro Says:

It's not a shallow piece; there's something in it that makes me want to keep exploring the picture. There is a dynamic between each pair of characters in the foreground, and there's nothing that needs to be explained.

This is a lovely picture. I only just noticed the person standing in the background.

Minstrel Ayreon Says:

There wouldn't be anything shameful if you DID mean it in a religious sense.

The blindfolds are very interesting in that you show "physically" how they've been deceived, and how that deception has blinded them. Having Eve clothed definitely represents well how the sin has already taken effect in her. I particularly like the way you drew the serpent. That actually is sensible if you take the Bible literally, considering that snakes weren't humbled and made to slither on the ground until AFTER the serpent caused Adam and Eve to sin. As for the other woman watching in the background (almost missed her!), I'm imagining that's Lilith? While she's not an official part of the story, that's what came to mind.

I know you may have intended it differently, but this is what came to mind when I saw it.

Seraph Reaver Says:

I happened to see this on the front page and just had to click to see the whole thing. The serpent is really what caught my attention and how beautiful you made him.

Your color choice is awesome, the tree itself is muted but its fruit really stands out and helps connect the tree to the characters in the front. I love how they're shadowed overall but those bits of hair that see the most light really shine. It helps add to the whole atmosphere, very, very nice.

I adore this. It's so beautiful and the symbolism totally rocks my non-religious face off. Keep up the great work!

QuietDragon Says:
