Here's the finished trade with mafagafa of DA! She finished her part a bit ago...heheheh....but I finally finished my part n_n.

This is Olhos Que Riem, her blue dragoness character, whose name in English apparently means Laughing Eyes. Heh heh....she doesn't really look so mirthful now, xD. Is she angry at an intruder or just showing off or something else? That's up to you .

I played around a lot with my style for drawing dragons. This is more the style that Stormy Skies has implanted in my brain x3. I think I like it. It's definetely more realistic n_n. I also played around a lot with lighting in this, and I think it came out pretty good . What's odd is that I rarely ever draw dragons breathing fire....and since they're known for it, I wondered why I never would draw them like that. So, here I did n_n.

It took forever to choose a background, but I decided to go with pink clouds. ...xD Seems a little out of place, but it contrasted with the fire and the gem, so I thought it would be okay . Do you guys think it looks OK?

My first spent-a-lot-of-time-on digital picture in months! (Wings of the Past and the Phoenixes don't count...)
Tools Used: PS CS with my Wacom tablet from scratch
Time spent: many hours...maybe 6-8? It was spread out over a week, so I'm not sure :3.
