This is one of the last projects I did for painting class. The only instructions were to do a self-portrait. I finally chose a photo to work from and ended up starting and finishing this painting all in one evening. (It was a long evening, though - another late night, haha). After I'd gotten about half-way through I was like "Oh no... I hope he wasn't expecting it to be in colour." It was then that I had the idea to paint my eyes and eyelashes in colour. (Cuz I love eyes and I was told once while wearing purple mascara that my eyes look like a husky's,
) Welp, suffice to say, my teacher didn't have any problem with the piece. Mmmmm... I have to do another b/w painting soon. So much fun.
