This is was inspired by the song 'Watching TV.' I used a few photographs as reference and came up with this piece. The song writer talks about a beautiful young freedom fighter that he saw lying dead on the TV. The writer refers to her as being a yellow rose. It was a sad and intriguing song - the young girl's free in death, though I'm sure that's not the kind of freedom she was fighting to attain.
