Tis an image of X, in the Prison from Command Mission. You know, the one with parts that were a lil bit flooded. I wanted to stress my abilities with this one. I'm sick of using fliters or using photoshop to easily tweak the colors to get "dark" or "underwater" effects. So, this one is FULLY 'painted' without using those features. I need to be able to create these images without aid, otherwise my skills will never grow.
I also wanted to try an effect where the MAIN light source is the "reflected" light coming from the water. (and yes, I know X's head is too small, x_X I made an oopsie)

Gah! This is the last time I say this but, Where are the people's comments?! So many of my friends are drawing beautiful arts and no one is looking! Probably the simple fact that SA keeps shutting down and no one knows when it comes back up. Anyways, this is well colored. I especially like the green glow on his belt and the expression on his poor face. Oh, X. So innocent.

This is simply amazing. Your coloring skills are definatly top-notch. The effects on the water, and the background in general is really good, almost life-like. The shading on X makes him stand out a lot, and it adds a lot of details that the outlines don't have. It makes the whole thing seem a lot more 3dish. I don't know what more to say to this wonderful piece of work. . so have a retarded smiley:
