Yu-Gi-Oh - Bakura, the Lone Survivor of Kuru Eruna

Here's Bakura before he died and became the spirit of the Millennium Ring. This is when he was a child after witnessing the destruction of his home, the village of Kuru Eruna, (or is it Kurueruna?) and the bruital slaughter of everyone who he's ever loved or known, so that the Pharaoh and his evil priests could create the Millennium Items. (Not that Atemu or his father were evil, but Akunadin (a high priest) and his goons were. B*ST*CH*S!) After being forced to bear witness to the destruction of everything he's held dear the light seems to disappear from his eyes, and now merely reflects off of them like jewels. He is never the same again.

Well, this is now I interpret it anyway. His eyes are so cool in Ancient Egypt, very different from everyone else's, and in screenshots of him watching the slaughter they looked almost like everyone else's... except the light was a pinprick then (for reasons that felt obvious to me).
