Yes, I know I designated this as an all Sailor Moon gallery, but... I can't help it! I'm proud of this picture, and with the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince just days away, I want to show it off! So... here it is. And, just to let you know, this is rather a spoiler from Order of the Phoenix. >_>;

This is one of the only pieces of actual art that I've done... Actual art meaning that it isn't just some character that I drew just to draw. This has purpose behind it, meaning... And I think it's the first full page drawing I've ever done in my life. Seriously... It started out just drawing Harry with the mirror shard, and then I needed the mirror, and then I wanted him on his bed, and then I ended up with an icky negative space, and so on and so forth.

For those who don't understand or don't recall... The mirror was given to Harry by Sirius for Christmas (I think) so that if Harry was in trouble, he could call Sirius and talk to him. Harry, doubting Sirius' ability to stay put if he ever called him, stuck the mirror in his trunk and didn't touch it... in fact, he never opened it. And then, because Harry was playing hero again, Sirius died.

Harry was packing to go home to Privet Drive when he came across the mirror... He had a glimmer of hope, but it was soon dashed. The mirror wouldn't work: either it didn't transcend death, or Sirius didn't have the other mirror on him. Either way, Harry got angry (again) and flung the mirror at the wall, shattering it.

I haven't read the book in two years, so if some of those details are off, I'm sorry. Anyway, this picture depicts Harry back at Privet Drive. He kept the shards of the mirror, not bothering to repair it. He's on his bed in his room, feeling lonesome and regretful, as well as angry. He is angry at Bellatrix for hitting Sirius with whatever spell knocked him over. He is angry at Voldemort because he is behind the whole thing. He is angry at Dumbledore for not telling him the things he needed to know when he needed to know them. And... he is angry at himself for being too hotheaded and not trusting Sirius, not to mention only half-assedly trying to learn Occlumency.

If anyone can't gather from the context, that's Sirius in the corner. Call it a memory of Harry's...
