Manuel is an actor and well, when he got attacked by Dilamanga during the filming of the most recent "El misterio" film. It is normal for him to show off in front of the ladies (film staff ladies), but his charming rescue act got ruined when his heroic prop rapier got bended... he had to scape and ended up bumping with Catlen and Griffine. He stayed with them for a long time.
