Caged Rats - Experiments

I haven't worked with watercolors for a while! I wanted to do a real media picture and thought I couldn't, seeing as my markers are all drying up, but then I suddenly thought about my paints and decided to do this pic that way.
I'm not too happy with the background. The lines are too thick for my liking... but nevermind.

So... it's Tea! This is when he was younger, hence the short hair, lack of piercings etc. He was in a laboratory for most of his younger years, used as an experiment for testing, and as a result, had his wings removed and replaced with umbrellas. He also had his head messed around with quite a bit, and it triggered something inside of him that would change his life forever - the ability to see demons and angels.
In the background is Toxic, 's rat character. He was a lab rat from the same place as Tea. I can't draw Tox at the best of times, and this is no exception! x_x Ugh.
By the way, they're in cages... and Toxic is in one that's behind Tea's. He's not actually outside Tea's cage.

The song that inspired this picture is 'Reduced To Teeth' by Finch. It reminds me of Tea, Toxic and Zip so much. The lyrics are amazing, and the lines for this picture are:

Caged rats, experiments,
a brain with no oxygen,
release all the hostages,
you've got to wash your hands of this,
murder, murder, murder, murder.

Everything about those lines reminds me of them. There's also another part that I may draw to at a later time.
