I started trying to do this in photoshop, but I suck at photoshop, and from that, I deduct that photoshop sucks...so, I kinda failed at doing the background, then got to colouring...and it was going ok until I started shading...I just took it back into flash and finished it in there.

I like it, working with a light source is hard sometimes. I like how the eyes are shaded and the ball seems to radiate with light, which was hopefully what you were going for there, I suppose you achieved your goal on that. If you had trouble on the hands, it helps for me if you take a picture of your hand, whether it be digital camera or cell phone, or you can just hold up your hand, in the position you want and draw it while looking at it. Just a little tip for yeh if you want. ^^
