Kit the bloo

Flying fox! Kit, caught turning in mid-air.

Done for many reasons. 1) Kit is cool. 2) I had extra blue from my dragon lying around. 3) Kit was GAX2 winner, and I was planning on doing something for her anyway. 4) I needed practice with sculpture.

So this is the first time I've tried painting a sculpture... Much easier than making different colors separately from clay. I didn't have any finisher or varnish either, but lucky me, my roommate did. So I used her Mod Podge and it turned out okay. :)

I'm decently pleased with this one. I took the time to make her fur and most of her feathers, even. THOUGH... as I was lying in bed last night, I realized that I forgot her crest.... >< Sorry Kit! Oh, and your green fire isn't glued on or anything, it's just separate...
