Amp Smear

My first whack at trying out emulsion painting. This one was just with a sheet of watercolour paper, but apparantly you can use it to print images onto literally anything that will fit into a developing tray and not fall apart. This was actually a reject for my personal album design project (not that you can really tell, they all look fairly similar), but looking at it some more, I actually kinda like it. Look at my avatar - it's the same subject, the mesh-esque covering over my amp, but the texture of the paper really worked well with the exposure, and actually creates the quasi-Rothko look I was hoping for with better-quality shots. God, I feel so dirty saying good stuff about my work ._.;
