Name: Draupadi
Race: Human
Eye: Hazel
Hair: Silver
Weapons: Chakram and whip
Draupadi is the second born of the mighty king of northern lands and she always lived on the coast in the palace of her family and on the academy where she learned everything she needed about the history and the culture of her land and the life on the sea according to their parents’ will. And there she also learned to use weapons and what does it means being a common people. She always kept secret her identity in the academy to be more in touch with other people because she wanted to be treated as a normal person and not as the snob daughter of the king. But in this way she also discovered how all her father’s subjects hated the royal family. She opened her eyes about her father looking with her own eyes how people were treated.
Once Draupadi was ready to leave the academy, she came back to her father’s palace and she openly talked about him of what she learned about him with the hope to change things. But, obviously, her father didn’t care of her worries because he was too blind by the power. Plus, he informed her that she would get married in a week with the prince of a nearby little kingdom: a wedding to make the kingdom stronger.
Draupadi took the decision to escape: she didn’t want to leave the sea that she loved so much, but she couldn’t get married with someone she never met before to make the kingdom stronger. And she wasn’t able to accept to be the daughter of a so bad and selfish man after all she learned about him from the people of her city.
She left the city the same night in the company of a friend who met in the academy and she left the coast. She wanted to cross the mountain to reach the southern part of that world and reaching another coast. It was a long, long journey but she wanted to see the sea again.
During the journey she met a merchant in a mountain city. They fell in love at first sight, more or less. After a few months, the merchant asked to Draupadi to became his wife. She truly loved him, she couldn’t deny that feeling but she also remembered about almost a year ago when she left her city. And the image of the sea came more vivid to her mind again. The call of the coast and the desire to see again the sea and smelling its weaves was too strong for Draupadi. She took a hard decision, the hardest she has ever taken: and she continued her journey no matter of her love.
