My chosen for May's round of Avian Art Exchange on Livejournal was Nanashi. She was a much fun to draw and I enjoyed working with such a colourful character, not that I'm obsessed with overly bright and vivid colours.
Not too sure about how this came out though, I like the way the top wing came out. That was something of an experiment with wing anatomy but as for the rest of it, something started to bother me the moment I did those crest feathers....I don't really know what it is about the way this came out that I dislike but heh. It doesn't really matter as long as Nanashi likes it.
