Ok folks, I don't usually submit WIPs, but in this case I need the advice of all of you 3d artists out there.
This is my first experience with Vue D'esprit (4), and though I'm amazed at the intuitive interface of the program, I'm faced with some problems here.
The most obvious here is the forged iron balustrade up front. Can anyone tell me the reason for the distortion on it (especially on the right side)?
Secondly, the iron Lantern on the house looks lousy, as it stands out too much in comparison with the house and doesn't look like it's properly placed.
Thirdly the nearest roof texture looks too flat. Any tips on that?
I'm pretty sure that you 3d experts out there will see more mistakes and probable improvements, but like I said, I'm new to 3d and Vue.
Oh, and none of the models is mine btw. They are all either come from Vue, or where downloaded from other 3d artists that corteously have them online for that purpose.

I've never tried Vue D'Esprit though I've heard of it. The distortion looks like it's from a) the texture or b) the lighting on the texture. Change your view up a little if you can for a more ariel view. Maybe that would help.

I like this, but it is sketchy. The lines and contrast are more 2-d then 3-d/ THe edges to the corners are a little bit flat. But over all it is cool.

I see. It is nice, I didn't picture the "foggy" look. Shakes head: It's all good.
